Hawkit.ng alternative: how Hawkit New compares
By the Hawkit New team · · 6 min read
If you want a Hawkit.ng alternative, Hawkit New is a separate Nigerian task platform with the same basic idea: get paid for posting adverts on your WhatsApp status, following pages and trying apps. The differences are in the money side. Withdrawals go out by bank transfer automatically, and the first 10,000 accounts are free.
One thing first, because the names are close. Hawkit New is not Hawkit.ng. Different company, different people, no connection. We can't see or fix anything on a Hawkit.ng account. If you have a Hawkit.ng question, take it to them.
What is Hawkit.ng and how does it work?
Hawkit.ng is a Nigerian social task site. Members pay to activate, then earn small amounts for jobs such as app reviews, social media follows and status posts, and for referring friends. Advertisers pay the site to get those jobs done.
That's the model most of these platforms share. The details below come from published reviews, not from Hawkit.ng itself (we couldn't reach their site while writing this), so treat them as reported, not confirmed:
- Activation: several reviews put it at a one-time ₦1,000.
- Task pay: one review lists ₦60 per Apple App Store review and ₦30 per Google Play review.
- Referrals: reviews describe ₦500 per referral.
- Minimum withdrawal: this is where the reviews disagree. Some say ₦100, others say ₦1,000.
- Payouts: one review says they go through Flutterwave.
Fees and limits on any platform change, and blog reviews go stale fast. Check Hawkit.ng's own site for today's numbers before you decide anything. Honestly, that advice applies to us too.
Why do people look for a Hawkit alternative?
Most people searching for an alternative want one of two things: a second source of tasks, or faster, more predictable withdrawals. A single task site rarely has enough paid jobs to keep you busy every day, so experienced earners keep two or three accounts open.
The comment sections under Hawkit.ng reviews also show the usual task-site complaints: activation payments that took a while to show on the dashboard, and questions about when withdrawals would arrive. We can't verify any individual complaint, and every platform gets some. Still, they tell you what earners care about, and it isn't the design of the dashboard. It's whether the money arrives.
How is Hawkit New different?
Hawkit New was built around the withdrawal. When you withdraw, the transfer is sent by API straight away, with no staff approval queue, and it's designed to reach your bank in under 10 seconds. A fraud check runs first. If it flags something, a person reviews it within 30 minutes.
Here's how the two compare on the points earners ask about most. Hawkit.ng figures are from the reviews cited above and may be out of date.
| Hawkit New | Hawkit.ng (as reported in reviews) | |
|---|---|---|
| Joining fee | Free for the first 10,000 users, then ₦1,000 once | ₦1,000 activation |
| Minimum withdrawal | ₦1,000 | Reported as ₦100 or ₦1,000 |
| Withdrawal fee | ₦0 | Not confirmed |
| How withdrawals are sent | Bank transfer, sent automatically when you ask | Reported via Flutterwave |
| Referral bonus | ₦500 when a friend pays the ₦1,000 activation | Reported ₦500 |
| Proof checks | Screenshot checked automatically; approved after 24 hours unless the advertiser disputes | Not confirmed |
| Other services | Marketplace and discounted airtime/data (coming) | Not confirmed |
A few Hawkit New details the table can't hold:
- Your slot is held. When you take a task, it's yours for 30 minutes. Nobody else can grab the last slot while you're posting.
- Silence means approval. If an advertiser doesn't dispute your proof within 24 hours, you're paid anyway. You aren't left waiting on someone who forgot to check.
- Your account name is checked before it's saved. You add your bank account once, the name is confirmed with your bank, and every withdrawal goes there. No typing account numbers under pressure.
- Advertisers' money is locked first. A campaign's whole budget sits in escrow before the first task goes live. Your reward is already there when you do the work.
The fourth point matters more than it sounds. On any task site, ask where your pay comes from. On Hawkit New it comes from advertisers who paid up front, not from new members' sign-up fees.
What tasks will Hawkit New have, and what do they pay?
Advertisers set the reward for each campaign, so pay varies. These are the ranges on the platform at launch:
- WhatsApp status posts: ₦50–300 per post (stays up 24 hours, two screenshots)
- App installs with honest feedback: ₦100–500 (no task will ever demand a five-star rating; paid fake reviews break Google Play and App Store rules)
- Instagram follows and likes: ₦20–80
- TikTok follows and views: ₦20–100
- YouTube subscribes and watch time: ₦30–200
- Facebook likes and shares: ₦20–120
- X follows and reposts: ₦20–100
- Telegram channel joins: ₦20–80
There's a daily cap of 40 Instagram and 40 TikTok tasks, which protects your own accounts from spam limits. You'll find each task type explained, with its proof rules, on the paid tasks page. WhatsApp status work is covered in more detail in our guide to making money from your WhatsApp status.
Tasks open on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. Until then you can claim an account and set up your bank details.
Is Hawkit New legit, and how can you check any task site?
You should be suspicious of every earning platform until it proves otherwise, including this one. Hawkit New is new; it has no long payout record yet, and we won't pretend otherwise with made-up numbers or testimonials.
What you can check, on any platform:
- Who pays you? On a real task site, advertisers fund the rewards. If the only money coming in is members' joining fees and the main way to earn is recruiting, walk away. That's the pattern the SEC described in its May 2026 warning about Ponzi schemes on WhatsApp, TikTok and Instagram.
- Does it promise "returns"? Task sites pay for work. Anything paying you for depositing money is an investment scheme and needs SEC registration.
- Can you withdraw small? Do a few tasks, withdraw the minimum, and see how long it takes before you put serious time in.
- Are the fees written down? Every Hawkit New fee is on the home page, in one table.
Our guide to spotting Ponzi schemes goes through the full checklist.
How do you switch or start on Hawkit New?
You don't need to close anything. Keep your other accounts and add this one.
- Claim your account. It's free while the first 10,000 places last.
- Use your name exactly as it appears on your bank account.
- Add your bank account from the dashboard. OPay, PalmPay, Moniepoint, Kuda and every commercial bank work.
- Come back on 4 November, take a task, upload your proof within 30 minutes, and withdraw once you reach ₦1,000.
If you do tasks on more than one site, keep a simple note of what each one paid you and how long withdrawals took. After a month the numbers will tell you where your time is best spent.
Questions
Is Hawkit New the same company as Hawkit.ng?
No. Hawkit New is a separate platform at hawkit.com.ng. It has no connection to Hawkit.ng, isn't run by the same people, and can't help with a Hawkit.ng account, payment or withdrawal. For those, contact Hawkit.ng directly through its own website.
Is Hawkit New free to join?
Yes, for the first 10,000 users, who claim their accounts free. After those places are gone, activation is a one-time ₦1,000. There is no monthly fee and no withdrawal fee.
What is the minimum withdrawal on Hawkit New?
₦1,000. Withdrawals go by bank transfer to any Nigerian bank or microfinance bank, including OPay, PalmPay, Moniepoint and Kuda. The account name is checked against your bank before it's saved, so money can't land in a mistyped account.
When do tasks start on Hawkit New?
Tasks open on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. You can claim your account before then, add your bank account and be ready when the first campaigns go live.
Can I use Hawkit.ng and Hawkit New at the same time?
Yes. Task sites don't own you. Plenty of earners keep two or three accounts open and do whichever tasks pay best that day. Just don't submit the same screenshot on two platforms; Hawkit New rejects reused proof automatically.
